Aims of International Conference on Polyphenols Applications
After the great success of the Polyphenols 2005 conference, the ISANH organizes an international meeting with high level scientists and professionals to give an overview of industrial polyphenols, flavonoïdes and phenolic acid applications and to bring answers to pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industrialists. This conference will gather academic (researchers, clinicians, doctors…) with industrials (food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical…).
Objectives:
To present the latest advances on polyphenols and their effects on health (polyphenols from wine, beer, tea, apple, coffee, sea wheat, soya, olive oil, chocolate)
To discuss the limits of quantitative and qualitative assays for polyphenols estimation
To discuss about the stability, bioavaibility and bioefficiency of polyphenols in their different application fields (cosmetic, food industry…)
To explore the applications and future uses of polyphenols in pharmaceutical industry: cardiovascular diseases, cancer, hormone-dependant diseases and in anti-aging medicine.
To explore the uses of polyphenols in cosmetic industry (anti-aging, hydrating, sunscreen, skin depigmentation…)
To explore the applications and future uses of polyphenols in food industry such as in drinks
To focus on the interactions of polyphenols with other molecules in food
To discuss polyphenols uses in food conservation
