Objectives of Slimming Ingredients Germany 2007

Dear Colleagues,

Overweight has not only a negative impact on the esthetical and psychological aspect of the personal life, it is also harmful for health. Indeed, overweight leads to several diseases like diabetes, cardio-vascular diseases, hypertension and some kind of cancers. The aim of Slimming Ingredients Germany 2007 is to discuss about the latest advances in the weight loss and weight management field by the use of ingredients and dietary supplements. From the current used ingredients and their improvement, to emergent molecules and new mechanisms involved in weight loss and weight management, this international event aims to bring together the world specialists in the field (scientists, industrials, regulatory bodies…) in order to debate and exchange ideas, leading to the design of the Slimming Ingredients of tomorrow.

Abstract

All abstracts for oral presentation or publication in the proceedings will be submitted to the scientific committee. The abstract should be a one-page document, character times 12-single spacing. The title (in bold) should be typed in capital letters authors initial, surname, institution, state. Underline the name of the presenting author. The text should clearly state objectives, methodology, results, and conclusion. Simple tables and graphs are allowed. Presentation of every communication at the Conference is subjected to formal registration of at least one co-author. All accepted abstracts will be printed in the proceedings of the conference distributed during the Conference.

Edition of an abstract book

Abstracts and powerpoint presentations of the speakers will be published in an abstract book.

Certificate delivery

A participation certificate will be delivered to the attendees at the issue of the conference, attesting their presence at the Slimming Ingredients Germany 2007 Conference.
